Coupons...yes or no?

food is just going up and our weekly food bill is going up too, ive never used coupons but was wondering if it is worth it and what is the best way to go about getting them and what is the best store to use them at, we have walmart, cvs, krogers, brookshires, walgreens where we liveCoupons...yes or no?
It's totally work it. Check your local flyers and newspapers. Check websites of companies you frequently buy items of (Procter and Gamble, etc.).


Google for blogs in your area/state.

Look toward the bottom of any shelves in the store you are shopping at. Coupons are great if you are only using that product. Many store brands are as good or even better at a lower price. All higher priced products are put at eye level since shoppers tend to grab from there. Have everyone eat first before going shopping to prevent hunger purchases and try to stay out of the inside aisles unless you specifically need someting. Shop the outside perimeter first!
i don't think it is!! a lot of times i can buy off brand items cheaper than i can buy name brand with a coupon! becuase a lot of those coupons require you buy more than one or a certain size of a particular item!! so i stick to buying off brand food and not buying anything unnecessary to cut costs!! it is too big of a hassle to not save very much money!! i shop at walmart! and save big on buying the equate brand!!!
Of course it's worth it. If you CAN save money, why WOULDN'T you? Every dollar counts.





Anyway, if you buy your local paper on Sundays, it's full of store coupons as well as store flyers so you can shop for the best deals. Watch for double coupon deals as well. You can also find coupons galore online -- just look around a bit.





Also, right now Kroger has a promotion where if you buy a $300 gift card, they will add $30 to it, so you technically get $330. It's a bit of a lay-out up front, but worth it to get the 10% bonus. This promotion is good through the end of July, I think.
Use the coupons. They can be found on-line and in the Sunday papers. They are really worth using to save money.





Look at it this way, it only takes a little time to cut them out and any money that you save is a bonus. If you didn't use them, you wouldn't get the extra money.
Yeah, why not? You can't lose. It's only saving you money. BUT, check out different prices of things. See if the Kroger brand cereal is cheaper than the real brand, even with the coupon. It saves money. We don't even have to, but my mom still does.
coupons are pretty cool I just started to use them myself its crazy at how much you can save if you get a lot of them and you can some times find them in the paper or get a coupon book go on line to coupons.com
