Every single time i try and enter a coupon code in Dell's site, it says that the coupon couldn't be applied and to click ';view details'; to see why i need more info, or it isnt elligible. However, every time i do, it says the same thing. Is this the same with everyone or am i not putting in the coupons right? They aren't expired, one is for a laptop $300 savings on an inspiron over 1499.....expires 2/15/07. Doesnt work. Anyone else have this?Coupons on dell.com?

Dell is very strict as far as exactly which models are eligible. Get the product code for the laptop you wish to order and then search a coupon site that lists valid product codes. I found that Coupon Shack has them listed this way. Or if you want to search the other way, copy the product code from the coupon list and paste it in the product search box at the top right of the Dell site. Hope this helps. I know it is confusing.
There are many restrictions on Dell coupons. I'm not sure where you got the coupon code, but current codes and restrictions are posted at:

One other problem I have come across with regard to redeeming online coupons is that some merchant web sites are not fully functional with all browsers. If you are using a MAC, this may be the problem.
FYI...it's a preview of how things will be if you purchase from Dell. I stopped trying to get answers/satisfaction from them within a year of purchasing. Just a ';heads up'; for you.
